About
Marijuana is America’s Number One Cash Crop.
Marijuana is the third most popular recreational drug in America (behind only alcohol and tobacco), and has been used by nearly 100 million Americans.
Marijuana is far less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco.
According to government surveys, some 25 million Americans have smoked marijuana in the past year, and more than 14 million do so regularly despite harsh laws against its use.
Our public policies should reflect this reality, not deny it.
NORML.org and MMP.org are the top national non-profit organizations based in Washington D.C. dedicated to legalization of marijuana on both the national and state level.

Students for Sensible Drug Policy is an international grassroots network of students who are concerned about the impact drug abuse has on our communities, but who also know that the War on Drugs is failing our generation and our society.
SSDP mobilizes and empowers young people to participate in the political process, pushing for sensible policies to achieve a safer and more just future, while fighting back against counterproductive Drug War policies, particularly those that directly harm students and youth.
